Preparations to celebrate Independence Day start

LAHORE,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july,2016) : Preparations to celebrate the Independence Day on August 14 have been started in all government and private organizations. The officials of departments in the provincial metropolis have started to colour their buildings with national flags.

Lahorities have also started to beautify their houses and shops with flags of the country.

Special shops have been set up to sell different items like badges, stickers, shirts, caps, flags and buntings decorated with green and white colour. Several private and official buildings,including Wapda House, Lahore Railway Station, Alfalah building, the Lahore Fort, State Bank, Town Hall, Museum and Post Office buildings will also be decorated.
