Cold, Dry Weather Expected In Most Parts Of Country 12 Dec 2018

Mainly very cold and dry weather is expected in northern areas, while cold and dry in most parts of the country, while shallow foggy conditions are likely to prevail in few central and southern parts of Punjab during the next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Dec, 2018 ) :Mainly very cold and dry weather is expected in northern areas, while cold and dry in most parts of the country, while shallow foggy conditions are likely to prevail in few central and southern parts of Punjab during the next 24 hours.

During the last 24 hours rain-thunderstorm, with snow over the hills, was recorded at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Bannu divisions, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, while drizzle occurred in Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, DI Khan, Malakand divisions and Kashmir.

The maximum rainfall was recorded in Islamabad (Saidpur 04 mm, Rawalpindi 04 mm, Chakwal, Sahiwal 04 mm, Murree, Okara, Bahawalnagar 03mm, Kasur,Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot 02 mm, Bannu, Risalpur, DI Khan, Chitral, Kashmir 01 mm and snowfall in Murree 01 inch.

The lowest temperatures recorded were Kalam -9'C, Astore -6'C, Hunza, Gupis -5'C, Kalat, Malamjabba, Skardu -4'C, Bagrote -3'C, Quetta, Murree, Dir -2'C, Rawalakot, Parachinar, Drosh, Kakul -1'C.
