Rain with gusty winds in Lahore and its suburban areas early Saturday morning lessened the intensity of hot weather and provided relief to people.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jun, 2018 ) :Rain with gusty winds in Lahore and its suburban areas early Saturday morning lessened the intensity of hot weather and provided relief to people.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, more rain is expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Multan divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours. However, rain-thundershowers with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Kohat, Bannu, DG Khan, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Rawalpindi divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
