KP IGP For Foolproof Election Security Plan

Inspector General of Police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Tahir here Tuesday reviewed security plan for general election and directed for foolproof security during the polls.

The IGP expressed satisfaction over the security plan and hoped that election process would be completed in a smooth manner in districts DI Khan and Tank.
He was briefed about security plan for the general election 2018 in DI Khan Region at DIG Dera office.
Earlier, upon his arrival, the IGP visited "Yadgar Shuhaddda Dera police" and laid floral wreath and offered Fateha for the departed souls. A smart contingent of police presented guard of honour to him.
While addressing a police Darbar which was participated by DIG Dera, DPOs Dera and Tank and other all ranks police officers and jawans, he said he was proud commander of a proud and courageous force.
He appreciated the valor and courage of KP police especially Dera police and said KP police was the most courageous and efficient force of the country who was bravely fighting terrorism for the last several years.
He said the sacrifices offered by the officers and Jawans have no parallel in the whole world.
The IGP informed that DI Khan police was fighting the war against terror as a frontline force and have offered most sacrifices for safety of the people and maintenance of law and order.
The IGP revealed that very soon a police public school would be established in district DI Khan in which children of police would be imparted quality education. He also announced that financial package would be further increased for police officers and Jawans who got injured while fighting terrorism.
He said more police welfare projects were under consideration and to be completed on priority basis to further improve the performance of police.
On this occasion, the IGP also distributed cash prizes and commendation certificates amongst the police officers and jawans who excelled against the outlaws in the field.
Later on, the IGP visited Dispute Resolution Committee Dera and met with its members. Chairman of DRC briefed the police chief about the performance of the committee.
The IGP appreciated the outstanding performance of the DRC and thanked its member fortheir untiring efforts.
