Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, Spitting in the mosque is a sin and its expiation is to bury it.

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْبُزَاقُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَطِيئَةٌ وَكَفَّارَتُهَا دَفْنُهَا .

ہم سے آدم بن ابی ایاس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے، کہا ہم سے قتادہ نے کہا کہ میں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مسجد میں تھوکنا گناہ ہے اور اس کا کفارہ اسے ( زمین میں ) چھپا دینا ہے۔

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas: The sun eclipsed and Allah's Apostle offered the eclipse prayer and said, I have been shown the Hellfire (now) and I never saw a worse and horrible sight than the sight I have seen today.

Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 472

Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar said, While the Prophet was on the pulpit, a man asked him how to offer the night prayers. He replied, 'Pray two rak`at at a time and then two and then two and so on, and if you are afraid of the dawn (the approach of the time of the Fajr prayer) pray one rak`a and that will be the witr for all the rak`at which you have offered. Ibn `Umar said, The last rak`at of the night prayer should be odd, for the Prophet ordered it to be so.

Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 449

Narrated Jabir: A woman said, O Allah's Apostle! Shall I get something constructed for you to sit on as I have a slave who is a carpenter? He replied, Yes, if you like. So she had that pulpit constructed.
