Dhul-Qadah Calendar

Dhul-Qadah is the 11th month of the Islamic calendar. It is also known as Zul Al Qadah. It is one of the four scary months. The four scary months of the Islamic calendar are Muharram, Rajab, Dhul Qadah, and Dhul Hajj. Dhu al Qadah is the month in which Muslims from all over the world travel towards the Makkah and Madina for the Hajj. Hajj is performed in the memory of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (AS).

Events of Dhul Qadah

The main events that occurred in Dhu al Qadah are as follows.

• The battle of Trench, also known as the battle of Khandak, occurred in Dhu al Qadah. Muslims of Madina defense themselves for 27 days from the Jewish and Arabs. 
• The treaty of Hudaubiyah also occurred in Dhu al Qadah. It was the treaty between the Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) and the Qureshi Makkah. 
• The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was returned to Makkah for the 1st Umrah. After hijrat the Rasoolullah (SAW) returned to Makkah and performed Umrah. 
• On 1st Dhu al Qadah, Shia Muslims celebrate the birthday of Fatima binte Musa. She was the daughter of the seventh Shia Imam and the sister of the eighth Shia Imam.
• Imam Ali ibn musa al Rida was born on 11th Dhul Qadah. He was the eighth Shia Imam.
• Imam Ali ibn musa al Rida died on 23rd of Dhul Qadah. 
• Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) born on 25th of Dhu al Qadah.
• Hazrat Isa ibn Maryam was also born on the 25th of Dhu al Qadah.
• Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al Jawad died on 29th of Dhu al Qadah. He was the ninth imam of Shia Muslims after his father.
