Rain-thundershower Likely At Scattered Places, Very Hot, Humid Weather To Continue Elsewhere 16 July 2018

Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Khaber Pakhunkhwa, Punjab, federal capital, Kashmir during next 24 hours while very hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :Rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Khaber Pakhunkhwa, Punjab, Federal capital, Kashmir during next 24 hours while very hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
Rainfall is likely in Malakan, Hazara, Mardan, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G Khan, Zhob, Kalat, Mirpur Khas divisions, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heavyfalls is also expected at a few places in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions and Kashmir during this time span.
Seasonal Low lies over North Balochistan with its trough extending southeastward.
Moderate monsoon currents are penetrating central and upper parts of the country and likely to continue during coming days, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours, rain-thundershower with gusty winds occurred at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Mirpurkhas divisions, FATA and Islamabad, while at isolated places in D.
G.Khan, Kalat, Zhob divisions. Weather remained very hot and humid elsewhere in the country.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was: KP: Risalpur 95mm, Dir (Upper 44mm, Lower 06mm), Kohat 31mm, Cherat 22mm, Parachinar 13mm, Balakot 09mm, Malamjabba 05mm, Peshawar (AP 05mm, City 03mm), Kalam 03mm, Punjab: Islamabad (IIAP 53mm, Bokra 02mm, Golra 01mm), Kamra 53mm, Kott addu 05mm, Murree 03mm, Sindh: Dahli 40mm, Chhor 15mm, Mithi 11mm, Nagarparker 06mm, Diplo 02mm, Balochistan : Barkhan 25mm, Khuzdar 10mm and Lasbella 01mm.
Maximum temperatures recorded on Monday remained: Nukkundi 46'C, Sibbi, Dalbandin 45'C, Multan 41'C, Gilgit 40'C, Quetta, Hyderabad 39'C, Faisalabad, Chitral 38'C, Peshawar, Lahore 36'C,Karachi 34'C, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad 33'C and Murree 23'C.
