دھیرے دھیرے

عطاء الرحمٰن طارق

گھر لوٹا سورج بیچارہ دھیرے دھیرے

پھیل گیا ہر سو اندھیارا دھیرے دھیرے

بادل پیچھے سلگ رہا ہے بیٹھے بیٹھے

نیل گگن میں شام کا تارا دھیرے دھیرے

سونگھ لیا کل وادی کو اک گہری چپ نے

دور کہیں گائے بنجارا دھیرے دھیرے

مندر میں ناقوس بجاتا جھینو جھینو

مسجد میں گونجے نقارا دھیرے دھیرے

آن رہا کوٹھے کے اوپر چلتے چلتے

کھویا کھویا چاند ہمارا دھیرے دھیرے

مانجھی گائے گاتا جائے ہیا ہیا

لو کشتی نے چھوا کنارا دھیرے دھیرے

نندیا آئی سپنے لائی چوری چوری

سویا طارقؔ راج دلارا دھیرے دھیرے

ghar lauTa suraj bechaara dhire-dhire
phail gaya har su andhiyara dhire-dhire

baadal pichhe sulag raha hai baiThe baiThe
nil gagan mein sham ka tara dhire-dhire

sungh liya kul wadi ko ek gahri chup ne
dur kahin gae banjara dhire-dhire

mandir mein naqus bajata jhino-jhino
masjid mein gunje naqqara dhire-dhire

aan raha koThe ke upar chalte-chalte
khoya-khoya chand hamara dhire-dhire

manjhi gae gata jae haiyya-haiyya
lo kashti ne chhua kinara dhire-dhire

nindiya aai sapne lai chori-chori
soya 'tariq' raj-dulara dhire-dhire
