در و دیوار پہ کچھ سائے ہیں

آبگینوں سے نہ ٹکرا پائے

کوہساروں سے تو ٹکرائے ہیں

زندگی تیرے حوادث ہم کو

کچھ نہ کچھ راہ پہ لے آئے ہیں

سنگ ریزوں سے خزف پاروں سے

کتنے ہیرے کبھی چن لائے ہیں

اتنے مایوس تو حالات نہیں

لوگ کس واسطے گھبرائے ہیں

ان کی جانب نہ کسی نے دیکھا

جو ہمیں دیکھ کے شرمائے ہیں
