صبح خود ہوگی نمودار ٹھہر جا اے دل
کھو گئی گیسوئے جاناں کہ گھنی چھاؤں کہاں
ہر طرف دھوپ کا تپتا ہوا صحرا اے دل
کوچۂ یار میں آئے تھے کن امیدوں سے
لٹ گئی آ کے یہاں شوق کی دنیا اے دل
کیسی شورش سی بپا ہے کبھی چل کر دیکھیں
قتل گاہوں میں ہے یہ کیسا تماشا اے دل
موسم گل ہے یہ کیسا کہ چمن حیراں ہے
ہر کلی پھول کا دل جیسے کہ میرا اے دل
دشمن جاں ہیں سبھی سارے کے سارے قاتل
تو بھی اس بھیڑ میں کچھ دیر ٹھہر جا اے دل
