اثاثہ

ساحل احمد

کیوں تم نے پلکوں پر

اتنی ساری یادیں یکجا کر لی ہیں

ان یادوں کو تہ میں پتلیوں کے

رکھ دو

تاکہ یادیں رسوائی کی گرد سے

میلی نہ ہو جائیں

یادیں اثاثہ ہیں گزرے لمحوں کی

ان گزرے لمحوں کو

حال کے لمحوں میں مدغم کر دو

خود کو خود میں ضم کر دو

یادوں کو بوجھ سمجھ کر مت جھٹکو

ان کو بے پردہ کرنے کی عادت ترک کرو

وہ تو سرمایہ ہیں

انمول اثاثہ ہیں

kyun tum ne palkon par
itni sari yaaden yakja kar li hain
in yaadon ko tah mein putliyon ke
rakh do
taki yaaden ruswai ki gard se
maili na ho jaen
yaaden asasa hain guzre lamhon ki
in guzre lamhon ko
haal ke lamhon mein mudgham kar do
KHud ko KHud mein zam kar do
yaadon ko bojh samajh kar mat jhaTko
in ko be-parda karne ki aadat tark karo
wo to sarmaya hain
anmol asasa hain
