اندھیرا اتنا نہیں ہے کہ کچھ دکھائی نہ دے

اندھیرا اتنا نہیں ہے کہ کچھ دکھائی نہ دے

سکوت ایسا نہیں ہے جو کچھ سنائی نہ دے

جو سننا چاہو تو بول اٹھیں گے اندھیرے بھی

نہ سننا چاہو تو دل کی صدا سنائی نہ دے

جو دیکھنا ہو تو آئینہ خانہ ہے یہ سکوت

ہو آنکھ بند تو اک نقش بھی دکھائی نہ دے

یہ روحیں اس لیے چہروں سے خود کو ڈھانپے ہیں

ملے ضمیر تو الزام بے وفائی نہ دے

کچھ ایسے لوگ بھی تنہا ہجوم میں ہیں چھپے

کہ زندگی انہیں پہچان کر دہائی نہ دے

ہوں اپنے آپ سے بھی اجنبی زمانے کے ساتھ

اب اتنی سخت سزا دل کی آشنائی نہ دے

سبھی کے ذہن ہیں مقروض کیا قدیم و جدید

خود اپنا نقد دل و جاں کہیں دکھائی نہ دے

بہت ہے فرصت دیوانگی کی حسرت بھی

وحیدؔ وقت گر اذن غزل سرائی نہ دے
