جو تھا اپنا مرا غیر سا ہو گیا

دھوپ شدت کی تھی چل پڑا راہ میں

ماں کا آنچل مرا آسرا ہو گیا

مجھ کو موج بلا سے کوئی ڈر نہیں

جب سہارا مرا ناخدا ہو گیا

اب تو آنکھوں سے آنسو بھی بہتے نہیں

ظلم جب ان کا حد سے سوا ہو گیا

دل میں اصغرؔ کے خوشیوں کی برسات تھی

ہنستے ہنستے وہ کیوں غمزدہ ہو گیا
