بدلے ہوئے جہان کے انداز ہو گئے
حالانکہ روز آتے تھے مرضی سے اپنی وہ
اک دن بلایا ہم نے تو ناراض ہو گئے
پل پل بدلتے رنگ ہیں انسان کس کس طرح
سمجھا تھا جن کو دوست دغاباز ہو گئے
جن کا کوئی اتا نہ پتا تھا کسی کو بھی
چڑیا ہوئی جواں تو کئی باز ہو گئے
وہ رقص تھا کہ خوں سے زمیں لال ہو گئی
خاموش جتنے بھی تھے وہاں ساز ہو گئے
آنند کس طرح سے بدلتا ہے وقت بھی
بزدل جو کل تلک تھے وہ جاں باز ہو گئے

chiDiya hui jawan to kai baz ho gae
wo raqs tha ki KHun se zamin lal ho gai
KHamosh jitne bhi the wahan saz ho gae
aanand kis tarah se badalta hai waqt bhi
buzdil jo kal talak the wo jaan-baz ho gae
