دار و رسن پہ ہر کوئی منصور تو نہیں

ڈاکٹر چندراشیکھر پانڈے شمس

دار و رسن پہ ہر کوئی منصور تو نہیں

جھلسے ہوئے پہاڑ سبھی طور تو نہیں

عیسیٰ نفس ہے عشق اگر یہ بتائیے

کہ ہے کبھی صلیب سے وہ دور تو نہیں

ہیں راہزن یہ سانسیں مری کیا بتاؤں میں

پھر بھی سفر حیات کا مجبور تو نہیں

یہ روشنی قصیدہ ہے تیرے ظہور کا

آنکھوں سے دکھ سکے وہ ترا نور تو نہیں

پتھر گلے میں باندھ کے دریا میں ڈوب جا

اے شمسؔ تیرا عشق اسے منظور تو نہیں

jhulse hue pahaD sabhi tur to nahin

isa-nafas hai ishq agar ye bataiye
ki hai kabhi salib se wo dur to nahin

hain rahzan ye sansen meri kya bataun main
phir bhi safar hayat ka majbur to nahin

ye raushni qasida hai tere zuhur ka
aankhon se dikh sake wo tera nur to nahin

patthar gale mein bandh ke dariya mein Dub ja
ai 'shams' tera ishq use manzur to nahin
