گوبند پرساد

بوڑھا خوش تھا

پل پر کھڑا ہوا

اپنی پرچھائیں کو جیوں کی تیوں دیکھ کر

پانی میں

تبھی ایک لڑکا

آیا اور اس نے

ڈھیلا دے مارا

اب بوڑھے کی اداس پرچھائیاں

کانپ رہی تھیں

لڑکے کی آنکھوں میں

پانی میں نہیں

لیکن ابھی لڑکا

اس بوڑھے کی طرح خوش نہیں تھا

اور نہ ہی وہ اپنی پرچھائیں

دیکھ رہا تھا پانی میں

وہ تو کیول

ان پرچھائیوں سے ابھی لڑ رہا تھا

buDha KHush tha
pul par khaDa hua
apni parchhain ko jiyun ki tyun dekh kar
pani mein
tabhi ek laDka
aaya aur us ne
Dhila de mara

ab buDhe ki udas parchhaiyan
kanp rahi thin
laDke ki aankhon mein
pani mein nahin
lekin abhi laDka
us buDhe ki tarah KHush nahin tha
aur na hi wo apni parchhain
dekh raha tha pani mein
wo to kewal
un parchhaiyon se abhi laD raha tha
