تھے مرے زخموں کے آئینے تمام
داغ داغ آئے نظر سینے تمام
سب نظر آتے ہیں چہرے گرد گرد
کیا ہوئے بے آب آئینے تمام
ایک منزل اور ہے اک جست اور
آدمی طے کر چکا زینے تمام
موت لے کر ایک آندھی آئی تھی
کھو دیے انسان بستی نے تمام
تازگی چہرے پہ اب تو لائیے
پی لیا ہے زہر کیفیؔ نے تمام

maut le kar ek aandhi aai thi
kho diye insan basti ne tamam
tazgi chehre pe ab to laiye
pi liya hai zahr 'kaifi' ne tamam
