ذرا سی دیر کو چولا بدل کے دیکھتا ہوں
حصار ذات سے باہر نکل کے دیکھتا ہوں
معاملہ نہ سہی ایک تجربہ ہی سہی
تمہارے ساتھ بھی دو گام چل کے دیکھتا ہوں
نہیں ہے علم مجھے آج کی حقیقت کا
مگر عجیب ہوں میں خواب کل کے دیکھتا ہوں
مجھے ملا ہے پس مرگ زندگی کا سراغ
حیات میں بھی مناظر اجل کے دیکھتا ہوں

magar ajib hun main KHwab kal ke dekhta hun
mujhe mila hai pas-e-marg zindagi ka suragh
hayat mein bhi manazir ajal ke dekhta hun
