رقم اتنی اکٹھی ہو گئی تھی

خالد محبوب

رقم اتنی اکٹھی ہو گئی تھی

مگر وہ چیز مہنگی ہو گئی تھی

ہم اتنی گرم جوشی سے ملے تھے

ہماری چائے ٹھنڈی ہو گئی تھی

تمہارے بعد جتنا روئے تھے ہم

طبیعت اتنی اچھی ہو گئی تھی

سمجھ کر ہم دوائی پی گئے تھے

تمہاری بات کڑوی ہو گئی تھی

پلٹ آنا ہی بنتا تھا وہاں سے

ہمارے ساتھ جتنی ہو گئی تھی

ہوئی تھی دیر سے ہم کو محبت

ہماری جلد شادی ہو گئی تھی

سبھی محبوب اٹھ کر جا رہے تھے

کہانی اتنی لمبی ہو گئی تھی

hum itni garm-joshi se mile the
hamari chae ThanDi ho gai thi

tumhaare baad jitna roe the hum
tabiat utni achchhi ho gai thi

samajh kar hum dawai pi gae the
tumhaari baat kaDwi ho gai thi

palaT aana hi banta tha wahan se
hamare sath jitni ho gai thi

hui thi der se hum ko mohabbat
hamari jald shadi ho gai thi

sabhi mahbub uTh kar ja rahe the
