کاش تمہیں نہ دیکھا ہوتا
دل میں غم کے پھول نہ کھلتے
ہونٹوں پہ فریاد نہ ہوتی
تنہائی کے درد نہ ملتے
اپنی ہستی بار نہ ہوتی
مرنے کا ارمان نہ ہوتا
سانس بھی اک تلوار نہ ہوتی
کاش تمہیں نہ دیکھا ہوتا
آج اتنے مجبور نہ ہوتے
سب لوگوں سے الفت کرتے
اور خدا سے دور نہ ہوتے
کاش تمہیں نہ دیکھا ہوتا
