اب اور سانحے ہم پر نہیں گزرنے کے

منموہن تلخ

اب اور سانحے ہم پر نہیں گزرنے کے

گزر گئے ہیں جو لمحے تھے خود سے ڈرنے کے

نہ بھاگنے کے رہے ہم نہ اب ٹھہرنے کے

وہ لمحے آئے جو آ کر نہیں گزرنے کے

بڑے بڑوں نے یہاں آ کے دم نہیں مارا

وہ آئے مرحلے اپنی صدا سے ڈرنے کے

یہ ایک عرصے کے چپ کی خراش اور سہی

صدا کے زخم تو چپ سے نہیں تھے بھرنے کے

نئے سرے سے تعلق بنیں گے بگڑیں گے

کہ اب ارادے ہیں ایک ایک بات کرنے کے

guzar gae hain jo lamhe the KHud se Darne ke

na bhagne ke rahe hum na ab Thaharne ke
wo lamhe aae jo aa kar nahin guzarne ke

baDe baDon ne yahan aa ke dam nahin mara
wo aae marhale apni sada se Darne ke

ye ek arse ke chup ki KHarash aur sahi
sada ke zaKHm to chup se nahin the bharne ke

nae sire se talluq banenge bigDenge
