جو اب تک ناؤ یہ ڈوبی نہیں ہے

مظہر امام

جو اب تک ناؤ یہ ڈوبی نہیں ہے

تو ساحل پر بھی بے چینی نہیں ہے

چلو ہم بھی وفا سے باز آئے

محبت کوئی مجبوری نہیں ہے

ذرا تاریکیوں کو بھی پکارو

کہ اتنی روشنی اچھی نہیں ہے

ابھی سے کانپتا ہے شمع کا دل

ابھی اس نے نقاب الٹی نہیں ہے

رہا کرتی ہے حسرت بن کے دل میں

متاع آرزو لٹتی نہیں ہے

حیات جاوداں پانے کی خاطر

حیات مختصر چھوٹی نہیں ہے

امامؔ آئیں ذرا اس بزم تک وہ

جنہیں احساس محرومی نہیں ہے

jo ab tak naw ye Dubi nahin hai
to sahil par bhi bechaini nahin hai

chalo hum bhi wafa se baz aae
mohabbat koi majburi nahin hai

zara tarikiyon ko bhi pukaro
ki itni raushni achchhi nahin hai

abhi se kanpta hai shama ka dil
abhi us ne naqab ulTi nahin hai

raha karti hai hasrat ban ke dil mein
mata-e-arzu luTti nahin hai

hayat-e-jawedan pane ki KHatir
hayat-e-muKHtasar chhuTi nahin hai

'imam' aaen zara us bazm tak wo
jinhen ehsas-e-mahrumi nahin hai
