چاند

مرتضیٰ ساحل تسلیمی

جگ مگ جگ مگ چمکے چاند

جگ کو روشن کر دے چاند

دن بھر تو آرام کرے

شب کو باہر نکلے چاند

رخصت ہو کر پورب سے

پچھم تک جا پہنچے چاند

پہلے دن تو چھوٹا ہو

بعد میں بڑھتا جائے چاند

چاندی کی تھالی سا لگے

جب پورا ہو جائے چاند

کالے بادل سے چھپ جائے

بچو ڈر کے مارے چاند

چندا ماما کہتے ہیں

دیکھ کے چھوٹے بچے چاند

jag ko raushan kar de chand
din bhar to aaram kare
shab ko bahar nikle chand
ruKHsat ho kar purab se
pachchhim tak ja pahunche chand
pahle din to chhoTa ho
baad mein baDhta jae chand
chandi ki thaali sa lage
jab pura ho jae chand
kale baadal se chhup jae
bachcho Dar ke mare chand
chanda mama kahte hain
dekh ke chhoTe bachche chand
