کس لیے آزما رہے تھے مجھے
خود ہی منظر سے ہٹ گئے ہو تم
راستے سے ہٹا رہے تھے مجھے
اپنے اندر جو جھانک کر دیکھا
کتنے ہی درد کھا رہے تھے مجھے
میں گل عکس تھا سبھی چہرے
آئنے میں کھلا رہے تھے مجھے
کوئی نغمہ نہ گیت ہوں پھر بھی
وسوسے گنگنا رہے تھے مجھے
میں اندھیرے میں تھا مگر کچھ لوگ
روشنی میں بلا رہے تھے مجھے
ہو گیا میں فداؔ حقیقت پر
خواب سارے ستا رہے تھے مجھے
