دل میں سکھیوں کے تری آگ لگانی تھی ہمیں
ہمیں بازار نے ٹھکرایا تو گھر لوٹے ہیں
اک محبت تو بہر حال نبھانی تھی ہمیں
چاندنی آپ کی آنکھوں میں بھلی لگتی ہے
ہو اجازت تو ذرا عمر بتانی تھی ہمیں
رنگ درکار تھے ہم کو تری خاموشی کے
ایک آواز کی تصویر بنانی تھی ہمیں
ہمیں سگریٹ بھی تو پینی تھی نکل کر گھر سے
اپنی انگلی پہ یہ دنیا بھی نچانی تھی ہمیں
تذکرہ اس کا نہیں عشق بچایا کس نے
مسئلہ یہ تھا کہ اب جان بچانی تھی ہمیں
آج ہم اس کے دوپٹے کی مہک سے ہیں بندھے
وہی لڑکی جو کبھی دشمن جانی تھی ہمیں
