بہت آزاد ہوتا جا رہا ہے

یہ دل برباد ہوتا جا رہا ہے

سبھی آموختوں کو بھول جاؤں

سبق یہ یاد ہوتا جا رہا ہے

خدا کے نام پر دنیا میں کیا کیا

ستم ایجاد ہوتا جا رہا ہے

مجھے لگتا ہے اب میرا ہی قیدی

مرا صیاد ہوتا جا رہا ہے

جو سچ پوچھو غزل کا فن تو پنہاںؔ

خود اپنی داد ہوتا جا رہا ہے

sabhi aamoKHton ko bhul jaun

KHuda ke nam par duniya mein kya kya

mujhe lagta hai ab mera hi qaidi
mera sayyaad hota ja raha hai
