اب حرف تمنا کو سماعت نہ ملے گی

بیچوگے اگر خواب تو قیمت نہ ملے گی

تشہیر کے بازار میں اے تازہ خریدار

زیبائشیں مل جائیں گی قامت نہ ملے گی

لمحوں کے تعاقب میں گزر جائیں گی صدیاں

یوں وقت تو مل جائے گا مہلت نہ ملے گی

سوچا ہی نہ تھا یوں بھی اسے یاد رکھیں گے

جب اس کو بھلانے کی بھی فرصت نہ ملے گی

تا عمر وہی کار زیاں عشق رہا یاد

حالانکہ یہ معلوم تھا اجرت نہ ملے گی

تعبیر نظر آنے لگی خواب کی صورت

اب خواب ہی دیکھو گے بشارت نہ ملے گی

آئینہ صفت وقت ترا حسن ہیں ہم لوگ

کل آئنے ترسیں گے تو صورت نہ ملے گی
