بسلری

پریہ درشی ٹھا کرخیال

آدھا ہندو ہوں شراب پیتا ہوں

آدھا مسلمان

کہ سور نہیں کھاتا

میاں غالب فرماتے تھے

خیالؔ صاحب آپ بھی

ہوتے ہوتے ہو گئے

شاید

آدھے فرنگی

ہریدوار کی چوک پر

ہری حلوائی کی دوکان میں

دیسی گھی کی پوری سبزی کھاتے تھے

مگر پینے کے لیے

بسلری ہی منگواتے تھے

پریہ درشی ٹھا کرخیال
