میں نے اک بار ترا نام سنا تھا کیا تھا

اب کے بچھڑے ہیں تو لگتا ہے کہ کچھ ٹوٹ گیا

میرا دل تھا کہ ترا عہد وفا تھا کیا تھا

خودکشی کر کے بھی بستر سے اٹھا ہوں زندہ

میں نے کل رات کو جو زہر پیا تھا کیا تھا

تم تو کہتے تھے خدا تم سے خفا ہے قیصرؔ

ڈوبتے وقت وہ جو اک ہاتھ بڑھا تھا کیا تھا
