مصلحت یہ ہے کہ کچھ بھی نہ بتاؤں اس کو
شہر میں جا کے کہوں کس سے برا حال اپنا
کوئی اپنا ہو تو احوال سناؤں اس کو
آ بسیں دل میں بھی روزی کی تمنائیں اب
اب کہاں جاؤں کہ دنیا سے چھپاؤں اس کو
ہر گلی کوچۂ قاتل ہے دل ایذا طلب
کوئی مشکل ہو تو آسان بناؤں اس کو
لمس ممکن نہیں شعلے کا بنا خاک ہوئے
پھول ہو صرف تو سینے سے لگاؤں اس کو

har gali kucha-e-qatil hai dil-e-iza-talab
koi mushkil ho to aasan banaun us ko
lams mumkin nahin shoale ka bina KHak hue
phul ho sirf to sine se lagaun us ko
