راج کمار سوری ندیم

ذوق سجود لے گیا مجھ کو کہاں کہاں

لیکن مرے نصیب میں وہ آستاں کہاں

بخشا ہے تیرے نقش قدم نے جو خاک کو

وہ حسن دل نواز سر کہکشاں کہاں

میں سوچتا ہوں عارض و گیسو کو دیکھ کر

ٹھہرے گا صبح و شام کا یہ کارواں کہاں

خود سے بھی ہو سکی نہ ملاقات عمر بھر

اپنی تلاش لے گئی مجھ کو کہاں کہاں

ایجاد کر رہے ہیں وہ جور و ستم نئے

جور و ستم سے دبتا ہے عزم جواں کہاں

میری نگاہ شوق گداگر بنی ہوئی

جلووں کی بھیک مانگ رہی ہے کہاں کہاں

ہے باز یوں تو اب بھی در مے کدہ ندیمؔ

پہلی سی وہ نوازش پیر مغاں کہاں

zauq-e-sujud le gaya mujh ko kahan kahan
lekin mere nasib mein wo aastan kahan

baKHsha hai tere naqsh-e-qadam ne jo KHak-e-ku
wo husn-e-dil-nawaz sar-e-kahkashan kahan

main sochta hun aariz-o-gesu ko dekh kar
Thahrega subh-o-sham ka ye karwan kahan

KHud se bhi ho saki na mulaqat umr-bhar
apni talash le gai mujh ko kahan kahan

ijad kar rahe hain wo jaur-o-sitam nae
jaur-o-sitam se dabta hai azm-e-jawan kahan

meri nigah-e-shauq gadagar bani hui
jalwon ki bhik mang rahi hai kahan kahan

hai baz yun to ab bhi dar-e-mai-kada 'nadim'
pahli si wo nawazish-e-pir-e-mughan kahan
