پھول سوئے ہوئے تھے چھاتی پر
رات کتنا مہک رہا تھا گھر
اشک سیراب ہیں لہو پی کر
اور پیاسا ہے بھائی کا خنجر
پیٹھ کانٹوں سے ہو گئی چھلنی
حوصلہ تھا اٹھا دیا بستر
دل ربا نام ہے کہانی کا
خوں چشیدہ ہے ایک اک منظر
منہ اندھیرے ہی جاگنا ہے تجھے
میرے زخموں پہ اپنے کان نہ دھر
