ہم سب اپنے اپنے عقیدوں کے قیدی ہیں
جو کچھ ہم نے سمجھا اس کو بوجھ لیا ہے
جو کچھ ہم نے دیکھا اس کو جان لیا ہے
جو کچھ ہم نے چاہا اس کو مان لیا ہے
ہم کب سوچ بھی سکتے ہیں دیوار سے آگے
چھید کیے سینوں میں ہم نے اپنے عقیدوں کے خنجر سے
ہم نے دلوں میں زہر بھرا ہے
ہم نے فصیلوں کی دھاروں سے خود کو بھی تو کاٹ دیا ہے
ہم سب اپنے اپنے عقیدوں کے قیدی ہیں

jo kuchh hum ne samjha us ko bujh liya hai
jo kuchh hum ne dekha us ko jaan liya hai
jo kuchh hum ne chaha us ko man liya hai
hum kab soch bhi sakte hain diwar se aage
chhed kiye sinon mein hum ne apne aqidon ke KHanjar se
hum ne dilon mein zahr bhara hai
hum ne fasilon ki dhaaron se KHud ko bhi to kaT diya hai
hum sab apne apne aqidon ke qaidi hain
