بظاہر تو پرایا بھی نہیں ہے

ثمینہ اسلم ثمینہ

بظاہر تو پرایا بھی نہیں ہے

وہ اپنا ہو کے بھی اپنا نہیں ہے

مرے لب سے ہنسی چھینی تھی جس نے

سنا ہے وہ بھی اب ہنستا نہیں ہے

مری آوارگی پہ راستوں نے

مجھے پوچھا کوئی تیرا نہیں ہے

زمانہ منتظر ہے اس لہو کا

جو میری آنکھ سے ٹپکا نہیں ہے

مجھے تو خوف اپنے آپ سے ہے

کسی سے ڈر مجھے لگتا نہیں ہے

ہوا جو سو ہوا اب چھوڑ بھی دو

بہت بھی سوچنا اچھا نہیں ہے

خطا اپنی بھی مانو کچھ ثمینہؔ

اسی کا دوش تو سارا نہیں ہے

ba-zahir tu paraya bhi nahin hai
wo apna ho ke bhi apna nahin hai

mere lab se hansi chhini thi jis ne
suna hai wo bhi ab hansta nahin hai

meri aawargi pe raston ne
mujhe puchha koi tera nahin hai

zamana muntazir hai us lahu ka
jo meri aankh se Tapka nahin hai

mujhe to KHauf apne aap se hai
kisi se Dar mujhe lagta nahin hai

hua jo so hua ab chhoD bhi do
bahut bhi sochna achchha nahin hai

KHata apni bhi mano kuchh 'samina'
usi ka dosh to sara nahin hai
