رستے رہتے ہیں زخم سینے میں
شفیع اللہ خاں جانباز
رستے رہتے ہیں زخم سینے میں
لطف آنے لگا ہے جینے میں
دل پگھلتا ہے اشک ڈھلتے ہیں
آگ سی لگ گئی ہے سینے میں
تیری یادوں کی دھوپ ہوتی ہے
ڈوب جاتے ہیں ہم پسینے میں
اشک بہتے ہیں یاد میں تیری
عکس تیرا ہے ہر نگینے میں
لوٹ لیتے جو ہوش میں رہتے
مال تھا دفن جو دفینے میں
اب یہ عالم ہے حضرت جانبازؔ
ہم نہ مرنے میں ہیں نہ جینے میں

aag si lag gai hai sine mein
teri yaadon ki dhup hoti hai
Dub jate hain hum pasine mein
ashk bahte hain yaad mein teri
aks tera hai har nagine mein
luT lete jo hosh mein rahte
mal tha dafn jo dafine mein
ab ye aalam hai hazrat-e-'jaanbaz'
hum na marne mein hain na jine mein
