چاند سے جب بھی کہا نیچے اترنے کے لیے

اب زمیں کیوں تیرے نقشے سے نہیں ہٹتی نظر

رنگ کیا کوئی بچا ہے اس میں بھرنے کے لیے

یہ جگہ حیرت سرائے ہے کہاں تھی یہ خبر

یوں ہی آ نکلا تھا میں تو سیر کرنے کے لیے

کتنا آساں لگ رہا ہے مجھ کو آگے کا سفر

چھوڑ آیا پیچھے پرچھائیں کو ڈرنے کے لیے
