تیری زلفوں کو اے صیاد صیاد

نہ رکھ امید آسائش جہاں میں

کہ ہے دنیا کی بے بنیاد بنیاد

تجھے معشوقیت کے فن میں محبوب

کہیں ہیں عشق کے استاد استاد

گئی غفلت میں ساری عمر حاتمؔ

کہ جیسی خاک رہ برباد برباد

tujhe mashuqiyat ke fan mein mahbub
kahen hain ishq ke ustad ustad
