شوق ماہری

کیسی آشفتہ سری ہے اب کے

کچھ عجب بے خبری ہے اب کے

دیکھ کر اہل گلستاں کا چلن

جان ہاتھوں میں دھری ہے اب کے

شہر کا امن و سکوں ہے عنقا

کیسی یہ فتنہ گری ہے اب کے

موسم فصل خزاں ہے پھر بھی

شاخ دل اپنی ہری ہے اب کے

کور چشموں کو خدا ہی سمجھے

دعویٰ دیدہ وری ہے اب کے

ڈر یہی ہے کہ کہیں ٹوٹ نہ جائے

شاخ پھولوں سے بھری ہے اب کے

پچھلے سالوں سے زیادہ اے شوقؔ

رنج بے بال و پری ہے اب کے

kuchh ajab be-KHabari hai ab ke

dekh kar ahl-e-gulistan ka chalan
jaan hathon mein dhari hai ab ke

shahr ka amn-o-sukun hai anqa
kaisi ye fitnagari hai ab ke

mausam-e-fasl-e-KHizan hai phir bhi
shaKH-e-dil apni hari hai ab ke

kor chashmon ko KHuda hi samjhe

Dar yahi hai ki kahin TuT na jae
shaKH phulon se bhari hai ab ke
