سبحان اسد
اور کس شے سے داغ دل دھوئیں
کیا کریں گر نہ اس قدر روئیں
دل تو پتھر بنا دیا تو نے
آرزو کس زمین میں بوئیں
ہم کسی بات سے نہیں ڈرتے
ہم نے پایا ہی کیا ہے جو کھوئیں
آج فرصت ملی ہیں مدت بعد
آؤ! تنگئ وقت پر روئیں
ہم یہی خواب دیکھتے ہیں اسدؔ
ان کے شانے پہ رکھ کے سر سوئیں
