ایسا بھی نہیں درد کے مارے نہیں دیکھے
ہم نے گل و بلبل کے اشارے نہیں دیکھے
جب میں نے کہا مرتا ہوں منہ پھیر کے بولے
سنتے تو ہیں پر عشق کے مارے نہیں دیکھے
ہر سمت پھرے خاک اڑایا کئے برسوں
پر نقش قدم ہم نے تمہارے نہیں دیکھے
پوشیدہ ہیں کس حد میں مری خاک کے ذرے
پتھر میں بھی اس طرح اشارے نہیں دیکھے
تربت میں مرے بند کفن کھول کے بولے
ہم نے دہن زخم تمہارے نہیں دیکھے
اب قبر پہ آئے ہو تو اس سمت بھی دیکھو
ہاں نیچی نگاہوں کے اشارے نہیں دیکھے
بے چین ہے دل فصل بہاری میں حسیںؔ کا
اب تک کسی گل رو کے اشارے نہیں دیکھے

sunte to hain par ishq ke mare nahin dekhe
har samt phire KHak uDaya kiye barson
par naqsh-e-qadam hum ne tumhaare nahin dekhe
poshida hain kis had mein meri KHak ke zarre
patthar mein bhi is tarah ishaare nahin dekhe
turbat mein mere band-e-kafan khol ke bole
hum ne dahan-e-zaKHm tumhaare nahin dekhe
ab qabr pe aae ho to is samt bhi dekho
han nichi nigahon ke ishaare nahin dekhe
bechain hai dil fasl-e-bahaari mein 'hasin' ka
ab tak kisi gul-ru ke ishaare nahin dekhe
