دل نشیں ہے ،مہ جبیں ہے ،شوخ ہے ،نوخیز ہے

قمر آسی

دل نشیں ہے، مہ جبیں ہے، شوخ ہے، نوخیز ہے

ایک مشکل ہے، محبت سے اسے پرہیز ہے

پیار کی مخبر نگاہوں کو ہے اس کی آرزو

وہ بدن اک انتہائی خفیہ دستاویز ہے

دیکھ کر اس کو ہماری آنکھ میٹھی ہو گئی

سر سے پاؤں تک وہ لڑکی شہد سے لبریز ہے

ایک تو وہ بولتی ہے شان سے اردو زباں

اس پہ طرہ اس کا لہجہ بھی ادب آمیز ہے

عرضِ حالِ دل پہ اس کے طیش کا عالم نہ پوچھ

ایک لمحے یوں لگا مجھ کو یہی چنگیز ہے

انتظارِ وصلِ جاناں از قضا دشوار است

ہجر کا ہر ایک لمحہ ہم پہ رستاخیز ہے

پھول کو تحفے میں کوئی پھول دیتا ہے بھلا

اس کو دل کی کیا ضرورت ہے جو دل آویز ہے
