وہ کلیجے میں کبھی دل میں نہاں ہوتا ہے

کیسے بتلائیں غمِ درد کہاں ہوتا ہے

جو نہ کہہ پائے محبت میں زباں سے عاشق

صرف وہ راز نگاہوں سے بیاں ہوتا ہے

ہر کسی شخص کی پڑتی ہے نظر اس پہ بری

جب حسیں کوئی اچانک ہی جواں ہوتا ہے

جب ہوا رات میں چل جاتی ہے مہکی مہکی

میرے محبوب مجھے تیرا گماں ہوتا ہے

ایسا لگتا ہے جلا آشیاں گلشن میں کوئی

بے وجہ تو نہ ہواؤں میں دھواں ہوتا ہے

چھوڑ کر جاتا ہے جب اپنا کوئی بھی یارو

دل میں ہوتی ہے تڑپ آہ و فغاں ہوتا ہے

ساتھ دیتا ہے جو سچائی کا اس دنیا میں

اس کا دشمن تو ثمر سارا جہاں ہوتا ہے
