چلو یہ طے کہ بچھڑنا ہی انکی ضد ٹھہرا ۔۔

کہو اسے کہ بچھڑے تو کچھ سلیقے سے ۔۔

روح نکلے گی میری اس کے جانے سے ۔۔

موت سلجھائے گی معاملہ طریقے سے ۔۔

نکلے ہیں اس حال چھوڑ کے دنیا ۔۔

صدا نہ آئی کسی کھلے دریچے سے ۔

زندگی انکے چلے کاٹ کاٹ کٹی ۔

منزل ملی نہ ہمیں کسی وظیفے سے۔

کرو تو بس کربلا کی بات کرو ۔۔

ہمیں نہ سمجھو کسی ثقیفے سے ۔

ہابی خزاں کے ساتھ ضد ہے بہار کی ۔

جو گل کھلے تو کھلے اسی باغیچے سے۔
