بوڑھے نیم کی
سب سے اونچی
شاخ پہ بیٹھی
چیل یہ شاید سوچ رہی ہے
کیسے ناداں
ہیں یہ انساں
خود کو دانا کہتے ہیں
زہر ہوس کا پیتے ہیں
بڑے بڑے منصوبے ان کے
لیکن عمر ہے چھوٹی سی
میری عمر ہے ایک صدی
گھر میرا بس چار ہی تنکے
ان کی عمر ہے مجھ سے چھوٹی
لیکن پختہ گھر ہیں ان کے
