آفتاب رئیس پانی پتی

نند کے لال یشودا کے دلارے موہن

ہم تری یاد میں بیتاب ہیں سارے موہن

روتے روتے ہوئی بھگتوں کی ترے عمر بسر

کس مصیبت میں شب و روز گزارے موہن

نام لیوا ترے دنیا سے مٹے جاتے ہیں

جاں بہ لب ہیں تری آنکھوں کے ستارے موہن

جس کو کرتا تھا کلیجے سے گھڑی بھر نہ جدا

چھوڑ رکھا ہے اسے کس کے سہارے موہن

پھر وہی سانولی چھب آئے نظر بھگتوں کو

نند کی گود میں جمنا کے کنارے موہن

نند بابا کی کٹی ہو گئی سونی تجھ بن

پھیکے متھرا کے ہوئے سارے نظارے موہن

درد مندوں کو کلیجے سے لگانے والے

آفتابؔ آج مصیبت میں پکارے موہن

nand ke lal yashoda ke dulare mohan
hum teri yaad mein betab hain sare mohan
rote rote hui bhagton ki tere umr basar
kis musibat mein shab-o-roz guzare mohan
nam-lewa tere duniya se miTe jate hain
jaan-ba-lab hain teri aankhon ke sitare mohan
jis ko karta tha kaleje se ghaDi bhar na juda
chhoD rakha hai use kis ke sahaare mohan
phir wahi sanwli chhab aae nazar bhagton ko
nand ki god mein jamuna ke kinare mohan
nand baba ki kuTi ho gai suni tujh bin
phike mathura ke hue sare nazare mohan
dard-mandon ko kaleje se lagane wale
'aftab' aaj musibat mein pukare mohan
