ہر اک لمحے کی رگ میں درد کا رشتہ دھڑکتا ہے

وہاں تارہ لرزتا ہے جو یاں پتہ کھڑکتا ہے

ڈھکے رہتے ہیں گہرے ابر میں باطن کے سب منظر

کبھی اک لحظۂ ادراک بجلی سا کڑکتا ہے

مجھے دیوانہ کر دیتی ہے اپنی موت کی شوخی

کوئی مجھ میں رگ اظہار کی صورت پھڑکتا ہے

پھر اک دن آگ لگ جاتی ہے جنگل میں حقیقت کے

کہیں پہلے پہل اک خواب کا شعلہ بھڑکتا ہے

مری نظریں ہی میرے عکس کو مجروح کرتی ہیں

نگاہیں مرتکز ہوتی ہیں اور شیشہ تڑکتا ہے
