میرے لفظوں سے گزرو مجھ سے درگزرو کہ میں نے

فن کے پیرائے میں خود کو فن سے الگ کر رکھا ہے

فاتحہ پڑھ کر یہیں سبک ہو لیں احباب چلو ورنہ

میں نے اپنی میت کو مدفن سے الگ کر رکھا ہے

گھر والے مجھے گھر پر دیکھ کے خوش ہیں اور وہ کیا جانیں

میں نے اپنا گھر اپنے مسکن سے الگ کر رکھا ہے

اس پہ نہ جاؤ کیسے کیا ہے میں نے مجھ کو خود سے الگ

بس یہ دیکھو کیسے انوکھے پن سے الگ کر رکھا ہے

عمر کا رستہ اور کوئی ہے وقت کے منظر اور کہیں

میں نے بھی دونوں کو بہم بچپن سے الگ کر رکھا ہے

درد کی گتھی سلجھانے پھر کیوں آئے ہو خرد والو؟

بابا! ہم نے تم کو جس الجھن سے الگ کر رکھا ہے
