ڈرتے ڈرتے کل میں نے

اپنے لب جو کھولے تو

چھوٹے چھوٹے لفظوں کی

گہری گہری باتوں پر

جھیل جھیل آنکھوں سے

مسکرا رہا تھا وہ

جیسے وہ بھی مدت سے

منتظر تھا اس پل کا
