چاندنی رات ہے اداسی ہے
عابد صدیق
چاندنی رات ہے اداسی ہے
کوئی چاندی ہو میل دیتی ہے
اس کے ڈر ہی سے میں مہذب ہوں
میرے اندر جو ایک وحشی ہے
شام کو روز اس سے ملتا ہوں
رات تنہا اداس کٹتی ہے
لوگ ہنس بول کر چلے بھی گئے
میز پر چائے اب بھی رکھی ہے
زندگی یوں بھی زندگی ٹھہری
کٹتے کٹتے بھی دیر لگتی ہے
ظالمو مجھ کو دیکھ لینے دو
ٹھہر جاؤ یہ اس کی بستی ہے
آؤ ان سے بھی مل ہی لیں عابدؔ
ایک دنیا تو ہم نے دیکھی ہے

us ke Dar hi se main mohazzab hun
mere andar jo ek wahshi hai
sham ko roz us se milta hun
raat tanha udas kaTti hai
log hans-bol kar chale bhi gae
mez par chae ab bhi rakkhi hai
zindagi yun bhi zindagi Thahri
kaTte kaTte bhi der lagti hai
zalimo mujh ko dekh lene do
Thahar jao ye us ki basti hai
aao un se bhi mil hi len 'abid'
ek duniya to hum ne dekhi hai
