آیا ہی نہیں کوئی بوجھ اپنا اٹھانے کو
کب تک میں چھپا رکھتا اس خواب خزانے کو
دیکھا نہیں رخ کرتے جس طرف زمانے کو
جی چاہتا ہے اکثر اس سمت ہی جانے کو
یہ شغل زبانی بھی بے صرفہ نہیں آخر
سو بات بناتا ہوں اک بات بنانے کو
اس کنج طبیعت کی ممکن ہے ہوا بدلے
جھونکا کوئی آ جائے پتے ہی اڑانے کو
راضی نہ ہوا میں بھی مانوس مناظر پر
تیار نہ تھا وہ بھی کچھ اور دکھانے کو
جیسا کہ سمجھتے ہو ویسا تو نہیں کچھ بھی
یہ سارا تماشا ہے اک وہم مٹانے کو
